As we see it, there are really two flavors of video when it comes to driving sales: (1) Viral (aka “fun”), and (2) Corporate (aka “serious”). Say, for example, you want a video case study. You still have to decide if you want it to be fun and viral or serious and corporate. Can’t we do both? Not really. Many have tried, but what comes out is a patchwork quilt that ends up being not that good for any purpose. So if you’re clear up front what you want, the happier you’ll be with the final outcome. If you want viral, you need to take some risks and be edgy. If you want corporate, we’ll build you a solid piece, but it won’t naturally be shared around because, let’s face it, funny gets forwarded. Serious does what it’s supposed to do – drive your message home.
