OFFICIAL RULES - NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

  1. PROMOTION TIMING: The AlterSeekers Facebook Fan Page Weekly Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins at 12:01 a.m. ET on 5/4/2009 and ends 11:59 p.m. ET on 6/28/2009 (the "Promotion Period").
  2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of date of entry who are Facebook members. Employees of AlterSeekers, Inc., its affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies, (collectively "Sponsor and its related companies") and the immediate family members of each, are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited.
  3. HOW TO ENTER: You are automatically entered in all of the weekly sweepstakes drawings when you become a fan of AlterSeekers on Facebook by visiting the AlterSeekers Fan Page (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Port-Washington-NY/AlterSeekers/71730148781?ref=ts) and click on “Become a Fan.”  If you were already a fan of AlterSeekers on Facebook prior to 5/4/09, you are eligible for all weekly drawings.  Limit one entry per person per weekly drawing. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on the day prior to each weekly drawing to be entered into that week's corresponding weekly random drawing and any subsequent weekly drawings. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on 6/28/2009, to be eligible for the final weekly drawing. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different wireless devices, email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid or mistranscribed entries. The "authorized account holder" of the email address is the individual who is the authorized holder of the email ID and password associated with the account (based upon information submitted at the time the account was created). A potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with that winning entry. If the authorized account holder of the email address cannot be established to the Sponsor's satisfaction, that entry will be disqualified and an alternate winner selected by random drawing. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service may apply.
  4. RANDOM DRAWINGS: One winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about each of the following dates: 5/11/2009, 5/18/2009, 5/25/2009, 6/1/2009, 6/8/2009, 6/15/2009, 6/22/2009 and 6/29/2009, from among all eligible entries received by 11:59 p.m. ET on the day prior to each drawing. Drawings will be conducted by the AlterSeekers, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a prize are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received during each applicable entry period specified for each drawing. All prizes will be awarded & winners will be notified by Facebook message. Limit one prize per person.
  5. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"): (8) Prizes (one per week) – Week 1 Prize: A $50 Debit Card (ARV $50). Week 2 Prize: A $50 Debit Card (ARV $50). Week 3 Prize: A $50 Debit Card (ARV $50). Week 4 Prize: A $50 Debit Card (ARV $50). Week 5 Prize: A Copy of Bill Carmody’s book, Online Promotions: Winning Strategies and Tactics, plus a coupon good for One Hour of Free Consulting with Bill Carmody (ARV $274.95). Total Approximate Retail Value of all prizes = $809.65. Prizes are nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No substitution may be made, except by Sponsor in the event that the prize cannot be awarded for any reason, in which case, Sponsor will award a prize of equal or greater value.
  6. GENERAL RULES: An entrant is not a winner of a prize unless and until entrant's eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Return of prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate selection. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor and its Administrators are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process; violates the official rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical or phone line failures or any other problems beyond the control of the Sponsor, and to award prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that Sponsor and its Administrators and each of their respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in the Sweepstakes or use or redemption of prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the Sweepstakes materials or the offering or announcement of the prizes.
